By the time “A Hard Day’s Night,” the title track to the Beatles’ first movie was released, Beatlemania was in full gale storm force. An amazing fact: “A Hard Day’s Night” was the Beatles’ 12th charted hit in 1964 – they would have 19 hits that year alone! Ringo, who was not unlike baseball great Yogi Berra in stating unintended malapropisms, coined the title when the boys were leaving the set after a night of filming. John wrote this # 1 hit.
