Beatle fans may recall that Paul McCartney’s working title for “Yesterday” was “Scrambled Eggs.” John Lennon’s composition “It’s Only Love” had a working title too: “That’s a Nice Hat.” All of Paul and John’s compositions were credited Lennon-McCartney, regardless of each writer’s contribution. “Yesterday” was completely Paul’s song, while “It’s Only Love” was all John. Both songs can be found on the Help CD. Recorded June 15,1965.
