Difficulty Level: Beginner Genre: Classic Rock, Soul

On June 16, 1967, Otis Redding performed at the Monterey Pop Festival, electrifying the audience with songs such as “Shake” and “I’ve Been Loving You Too Long,” and thus was introduced to mainstream America when the subsequent movie of the festival was released. Unfortunately, Redding was dead scarcely five months later when his chartered plane went down in the waters of Lake Monoma, Wisconsin.
