Sugar Ray started with a group of friends at Corona del Mar High School in the late 1980s. Their first claim to fame came when Nintendo and Playstation fans recognized their music in the games. Their 1999 album 14:59 (as in 15 minutes of fame), brought two hits: “Fly” and “Someday,” both reaching the Top Ten. Stan Frazier drums.
